See, I think if we had gotten to see him before she ever even entered the picture, I might not hate him, but so much of his character revolves around her that I hate him because I hate him with her. Sometimes I like him. I rewatched the s6 holiday episode yesterday, because I deemed it finally seasonally appropriate, and I like him in that. He's just, I don't know, himself. And a douche. And the hair is so not as great as everyone says it is, I just don't get it.
