don't you waste me in the ground [a Ned/Chuck fanmix]

1. "Crayola Doesn't Make a Color For Your Eyes," Kristin Andreassen.
I had a box of 12, 48 and 64,
but nowhere could I find that one shade I was looking for.
I guess I realized, should've come as no surprise:
Crayola doesn’t make a color for your eyes.

2. "Four Left Feet," the Ditty Bops.
Now it’s our chance, we’ll feel complete -
I’ll ask you to dance and if you’ll agree,
it’s me and you:
that makes two with four left feet

3. "God Only Knows," Petra Hayden.
If you should ever leave me,
though life would still go on believe me,
the world could show nothing to me,
so what good would living do me?
God only knows what I'd be without you.

4. "I Want You," Holly Cole.
I'd give you the stars above,
the sun on the brightest day.
I'll give you all my love,
if you would only say,
I want you, you, you.

5. "I Will Follow You Into the Dark," Amy Millan.
Love of mine, someday you will die,
but I'll be close behind;
I'll follow you into the dark.
No blinding light or tunnels to gates of white -
just our hands clasped so tight,
waiting for the hint of a spark.

6. "Love Me Like the World Is Ending," Ben Lee.
This is the last day of existence,
and all I want is you.
There's a certain sadness,
but I know, I know, I know
the sky is what makes the ocean blue.

7. "Made Up Love Song #43," the Guillemots.
I love you through sparks and shining dragons, I do;
now there's poetry in an empty coke can.

8. "Naked As We Came," Iron and Wine.
She says, "If I leave before you, darling,
don't you waste me in the ground."
I lay smiling like our sleeping children;
one of us will die inside these arms.

9. "Somebody Loved," the Weepies.
Rain turns the sand into mud,
wind turns the trees into bone.
Stars turning high up above...
You turn me into somebody loved

10. "Sunlight in a Jar," the Lucksmiths.
Overblown libretto and a sumptuous score
could never contain the contradictions I adore.
We can just be chaos and then something aligns -
it’s so hard to contain, maintain it or define it.

11. "Umbrellas," Stars.
All the umbrellas in London
couldn't hide my love for you.

Run to the window and call out my name;
we'll meet where the sun goes to hide from the rain.

12. "You Are My Sunshine," Elizabeth Mitchell and Daniel Littleton.
The other night, dear, when I lay sleeping,
I dreamt I held you in my arms.
When I awoke, dear, I was mistaken,
so I hung my head and cried.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine;
you make me happy when skies are grey.
You'll never know, dear, how much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away.
